Shipping chocolate can get sticky. We work hard to ensure that our chocolate is delivered fresh and in perfect condition.
Due to excessive heat and extreme weather conditions, we do not ship in warm weather months; May through the end of September.
As a general rule of thumb, if the temperature at the “ship to” address is in excess of 80 degrees Fahrenheit, we cannot ship using our preferred methods. However, if you would like to place an order for delivery anyway please contact us at orders@wmpoole.com and we’ll be happy to provide a custom shipping quote.
Shipping Methods
We ship within the United States only.
We offer local pick-up or contactless curb-side pickup for customers residing within 150 miles of our location, free shipping for orders of $100, or more, USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate, and FedEx OneRate 3-day shipping to all USA zip codes .

Free Shipping
For orders of $100, or more, we will pick up the tab for shipping. Be sure to select “Free Shipping” during checkout.
Local Pickup
If you live in the Somersowrth, NH region, you may choose to pick-up your order from our retail location. If you prefer to have contactless surb-side pickup please denote as such on your order. We will contact you when your order is ready and schedule a pickup time.
Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect delivery timelines, ship dates, and arrival dates. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather, incorrect address provided to us, issues with the shipping providers, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Each shopper is responsible for selecting a shipping method that ensures the product is delivered within their desired time frame.
Order Processing
Our confections are made fresh weekly; therefore, it may take upwards of 72 hours to get your order shipped. We process and ship by order number, so there may be significant delays during peak times. If you need your order by a certain date, then please email us at orders@wmpoole.com with your order number and details, and we will attempt to accommodate your request.
Shipping Days
Depending upon the delivery zone, deliveries are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in order to avoid having the chocolates sit over the weekend in an unconditioned warehouse.
Warm Weather Shipping Policy
From May through the end of September, it is too hot in most of the US to safely ship chocolate; so we shutdown shipping. However, if you would like to place an order for delivery please contact us at orders@wmpoole.com and we’ll be happy to provide a custom shipping quote.
Shipping
From October through the end of April, based upon your delivery location, we ship Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in order to avoid having the chocolates sit over the weekend in an unconditioned warehouse. Please make sure that someone is available to receive the package and take it inside upon delivery. Our shipping partners will leave a package on your porch if no one is home; we cannot be held responsible for damaged or melted product when packages are left in this manner.
Returns Policy
As our products are perishable, all sales are final.
Wm Poole Confections will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives.
Wm Poole Confections is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undelivered as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us, or for the inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day you specify that it should be delivered.
We wish we could assure proper handling and prompt receipt of packages once they have been delivered to the correct mailing address by the third party carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS), but this, of course, is out of our control. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand.
